ClickFights: A Lobby Built Around the Next Fight
The ClickFights lobby now connects conversation, fighter discovery, challenges, and results.
The lobby is where a ClickFights session starts. It needs to make other players visible, leave room for conversation, and make the next fight easy to find. Recent development brought those pieces together in one clearer space.
The main screen now gives a fighter a view of their own activity, a central area for chat and fight activity, and compact rankings. The live-fighter list stays focused on the people available to challenge. A player can start a challenge from that list or from another fighter's activity in the chat, without hunting through a separate set of pages.
Choosing moves is deliberate. The challenger selects one move for each of three rounds, checks the choices, and sends the challenge. Random can fill those choices for a quick start, but it does not send the challenge on its own. Block remains a move the player chooses intentionally. The responding fighter gets the same clear three-round decision when they answer.
Once both sides have committed, the fight resolves and the result is shown from the viewpoint of the player reading it. If more incoming challenges are waiting, Next Fight leads to the oldest pending one. Recent fights and rankings then give players a way to see what has been happening around them.
These changes did not require a new combat system. They made the existing one easier to reach and easier to follow: enter the lobby, find a fighter, choose three moves, see what happened, and decide who to challenge next.
